Diversity in the Workplace , A Skillpath Seminar
the workplace is rapidly changing. People are entering the workforce, and bringing with them cultural differences that pose new challenges in today's workplace.
this one-day seminar was designed to explore the diversity in your organization and increase employees' awareness of the differend attitudes, beliefs and values that other employees may have.
The seminar uncovers what diversity really is and what it isn't and discusses why diversity is so important, how behaviors are impacted by biases and inaccurate perceptions, and how these behaviors affect co-workers.

Cooking bannock
Students from local schools looked on as the cooking of bannock was demonstrated this morning during the Fall Harvest Preparation workshops at the Nanicost grounds. The workshops, which include lessons on preparing wild rice, wild meats, and traditional teas, runs until Thursday.
